Progress in january and Small blog meet

January is already over and my goal to finish things before starting new projects is on going. I haven't started anything new and I've made progress on several projects, finished some small projects.
Right now I have these projects on the go:
1.  House wall-hanging

2. Madrona road bag

 

I started this bag before chrismas and I love the fabrics and the pattern - but it's tedious work getting the lining to square up inside. Next time I will sew the corner seams together and put bindings on to cover the seams - I think that should do it!

3. Table runner

 

I was going to make the Vintage Memories BOM - but these two blocks were all I made before I realised it wasn't my cup of tea - and it was so much work for something I didn't like. So I'm making this for my mother and the rest of the fabric I plan on using in a quilt pattern I have been wanting to do for some time!

This weekend my goal is to quilt the wall hanging and the table runner , attach the lining and make the handles for the Madrona road bag.

In january I have  also been good at not buying new stash - exept some fabric - using my christmas gift from my in-laws. I am going to continue to use what I have in february - only buying if it's needed to finish ongoing projects.
