Anywhoo...
I've had a layer cake of Sew Stitchy for a while - and I decided to make sewing accessories from it. And try to use all of it.
I have made a mat to put my Janome Jem Gold on for when I take it somewhere to sew (like the living room) I didnt have a pattern - I just measured around it.
I'm making my own version of a block keeper from Fresh Fabric Treats I just need to put flannel pages inside.

It was fun to test out several different quiltpatterns.

This is the inside - with pockets where I can put patterns og cardboard to stiffen it up. It just lacks the flannel pages.
I am making the butterfly mug bag without the butterfly from Red Brolly - since some of it calls for fat quarter size pieces - I pieced together the outer casing.

The pocket in the middle is for teabags.
I am making a thread catcher to hang from the sewing machine mat - I'm just copying the bag for the mug bag and making the corners bigger.
I'm going to make a few pin cushions. A string pouch for my travel iron. And some see through pouches for sewing accessories when I go to classes.
xx Kirsten

Hi, very nice work:-)
Kisses, Emanuela
I love your sewing ideas. I especially like the mug carrier. That is so very cute. Did you make your own pattern? You are so clever if you did. Nice work and to think you used scrap and I like that too. I love looking at your blog.
